Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been the longest-running tv show set in the MCU. Over its 7-year run, it has done a tremendous job connecting to the films and having the stories from the movies impact the characters on the small screen, even if it hasn't happened as much in recent seasons.

Since the team behind the show has to keep track of the events of the films along with the show, there are of course going to be small continuity errors between scenes, episodes, or even seasons. Many of these errors can be easily missed by even the most eagle-eyed fans in addition to the show's crew. So here are 10 continuity errors in Agents of Shield that fans didn't notice.

10/10 Disappearing Pillows

In the show's pilot episode, Agent Ward is on a mission in Paris attempting to recover a Chitauri bracelet. He had been warned that Rising Tide leaked the location of the bracelet, jeopardizing his mission, but decided to continue anyway.

After dressing up as a waiter and collecting fingerprints off the glass, he manages to find the hotel room and break into the safe hidden behind a fireplace. Moments later, 2 hostiles come to attack him after his location is compromised. During the fight, a couch is knocked over and several pillows that were on it, fall. However, seconds later when Ward kicks one of his assailants back over the fallen couch, the pillows that should be on the ground have somehow vanished.

9/10 Moving Blade

In the 17th episode of season 5, "The Honeymoon", Agent Coulson and General Talbot find themselves wandering in the snow after escaping the facility where Hale was keeping them captive. After some time, they discover that they're being chased by Ruby. Not long after, thanks to Robyn's abilities, May, Deke, and Daisy arrive to rescue them.

After May and Deke leave to get Coulson and Talbot to safety, Daisy and Ruby square off against each other. After managing to cut Daisy's hand using her blade, Daisy throws Ruby into a tree, sending the blade flying offscreen. Moments later, the blade is seen right next to Ruby's body despite not being there previously.

8/10 Unbending Pipe

In episode 21 of season 4, "The Return", following their recent escape from the framework, Agents May and Coulson find themselves squaring off against two of the many Life Model Decoys of Anton Ivanov.

During the fight, Coulson picks up a pipe from a nearby table and uses it to attack Ivanov. After getting a few good hits in, he swings a third time only for Ivanov to grab the pipe and take it from Coulson, bending it in the process. However, when he tosses the same pipe to the ground, it is perfectly straight.

7/10 Fading Lines

In season 1 episode 21, "Ragtag", while the team is hiding out in a hotel in Los Angeles, Coulson calls them into his room to recap and give them their missions. During this briefing, Coulson shows the team how everything that they had gone through and dealt with through the season linked back to Cybertek using a chart that showed their various obstacles and challenges.

The diagram shows different circles with various words, which Coulson then draws lines between as he explains, ending with a line that connects "The Bus" to "GH-325". But when Coulson turns to the teams and suggests that he should have made another chart that final line disappears and then suddenly reappears again when May starts talking.

6/10 Unlit Candles

In the 2nd episode of season 3, "Purpose in the Machine", we get introduced to William May, Agent Melinda May's father whom she decides to stay within Arizona after taking a break from S.H.I.E.L.D. out of concern for his safety.

Later in the episode, as the two sit on the couch and they talk about her wanting a normal life away from S.H.I.E.L.D., there are 3 candles behind them. When they start the conversation and when they end the conversation the candles are lit. However, during several shots in the middle of their discussion, the candles are put out.

5/10 Missing Mug

When Agent Ward first arrives on the Bus, the first thing he encounters is Agent Fitz and Agent Simmons arguing with each other while settling in. During the argument, Simmons places a bright red cup on the table between them as she unpacks.

Seconds later, Ward loudly drops his bag with his belongings, making his presence known to the pair.  The cup, however, has magically vanished from the table.

4/10 Watchdogs Attack

At the start of the 14th episode of season 3, "Watchdogs" Agent Mack is at the house of his brother in Illinois, helping him work on his motorcycle. After some time they go inside to eat and Mack starts looking for something to watch on tv. While flipping through channels, he comes across a breaking news report that shows the terrorist group, The Watchdogs, outside a government facility demanding information before shooting six shots of Nitramene on the building, causing it to implode as they run away.

Moments later, Coulson calls him Mack in order to give him the order to travel to South Bend to investigate the site of the attack. As he does this, a replay of the incident is on the news in front of him, but surprisingly the six bright orange shots of Nitramene aren't visible on the building despite the fact that they would have been shot already.

3/10 Switching Tablet

In season 4 Episode 19, "All the Madame's Men", near the end of the episode, Agent Fitz, who goes by the Doctor in the framework, is walking with his father, as they discuss Holden Radcliffe.

In his father's hand is a tablet with footage of the prison cells at the Hydra facility. As they walk the tablet keeps switches hands. It starts off in his left hand, jumps to his right between shots, and then jumps back.

2/10 Shifting Gun

In Season 5 Episode 7, "Together or Not At All", the season's main antagonist, Kasius, and his visiting brother, Faulnak, get into a discussion about firearms. During the conversation, which becomes an argument about Kasius' right to the family name, Faulnak picks up a gun and fires it near his brother.

At the end of the conversation, he goes to hand the weapon to Kasius but the orientation he holds it in changes between shots. At first, he has it turned so he's offering the grip of the gun but when Kasius goes to take it, Faulnak is holding it by the grip and offering the barrel.

1/10 Underground Base

In the 20th episode of season 3, "Emancipation", Agent Coulson meets with General Talbot in a bar which is the secret entrance to SHIELD's current base of operations, the Playground, which is several stories below in the basement of the bar. Later, in episode 22 "Ascension", when the team regroups in Coulson's office, he calls in a quinjet to evacuate them from the facility and get Elena to medical help.

After he explains his plan to the rest of the team and gives them instructions, the quinjet arrives outside the window of his office. Considering this is the same base as before, there's no way that the jet could arrive and be seen outside the office window since the base is underground.
